INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT

INSTRUCTOR LEVELS

Instructor candidates should be motivated, self-starters who have a passion for learning and continuing education but also sharers of information. Upon completion of the program, the individual will be an asset to their organization which ultimately will reduce liability and provide an in-house subject matter expert.

MASTER INSTRUCTOR

There are two variations of the Master Instructor. Below are each requirements:

 

Corporate Master Instructor

  • Working for and with Controlled F.O.R.C.E.
  • Beginning path to International Master Instructor.
  • Mentored by International Master Instructor
  • Eligible to instruct courses throughout the Continental United States
  • May travel extensively for extended periods of time.
  • Assistant or lead instructor at annual training conferences

International Master Instructor

  • Recommended by International Master Instructor for overseas assignment.
  • Invited by Executive Director to assist in training at an overseas location.
  • After first successful overseas assignment, awarded rating of International Master Instructor.
  • Eligible for all overseas training assignments.

DEPARTMENTAL MASTER

To become a Departmental Master Instructor, you must have the following requirements:

 

  • Mentored by Master Instructor
  • Assist in training at a minimum of three courses
  • Assistance level:
    • Student spot corrections, observation of Master Instructor delivery.
    • Instructing portion of course under Master Instructor supervision.
  • Begin to develop your own instruction style while staying within standardization parameters.
  • Signed off by Master Instructor for eligibility as Senior Instructor.

DEPARTMENTAL INSTRUCTOR

To become a Departmental Instructor, you must complete the following requirements:

  • Graduate 16, 24, 32- or 40-hour Instructor course
  • Maintain certifications as required

END USER

To become an End User, you must have the following requirements:

 

  • Attend at a minimum an 8-hour MACH course, generally at level one or two.
